Job Description
The role oversees the administrative and operational management of the Middle East Studies Center. The assistant to director acts as the primary administrative advisor to the director, managing the center's budget, academic program logistics, and student affairs.
Responsibilities
- Implement departmental academic and student programs
- Manage operational and capital budgets
- Supervise administrative staff
- Plan and organize logistics for seminars, talks, and conferences
- Handle communication and public relations inquiries
- Coordinate with graduate fellows and teaching assistants
Qualifications
- University degree required
- Minimum of eight years of relevant experience, preferably in an academic setting
