Director of Estate and Facility Management
Job Description
The Director of Estate and Facility Management is responsible for the integrity, safety, and seamless operation of the museum’s physical environment. This position is vital to the psychological and operational wellbeing of the institution.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the museum's facilities
- Develop, manage, and monitor the Facility Management budget
- Establish and enforce health, safety, and environmental protocols
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers
- Lead and mentor a dedicated facilities team
- Innovate strategies to improve energy efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in facilities or property management
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field
