Claims Adjuster
Job Description
We are looking for a seasoned Claims Adjuster to resolve claims at the highest authority levels on commercial reinsurance claims reflecting the highest degree of technical complexity. You will resolve claims by establishing appropriate negotiation strategies and performing ongoing reviews throughout the claims cycle within authority limits.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical expert for the team and internal business partners
- Assess damages and negotiate settlement of claims
- Establish timely reserves and perform ongoing review within authority limits
- Determine policy verification and coverage determination by analysing applicable coverage
- Develop case strategy and evaluations
- Manage litigation by assigning counsel and establishing litigation plans
- Prepare reports and analyse data to present to management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
- More than 5+ years of experience within a Claims Operation environment in Commercial Insurance
- Must have a Certificate/ Diploma/ Associate - CII/ CILA
- Sound understanding of commercial insurance business and reinsurance fundamentals
- Fluency in English (Arabic desirable but not essential)
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
