Job Description
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance of Platform Screen Door (PSD) equipment in accordance with all relevant regulations, good industry practices and international benchmark. Analyse disruptions in PSD equipment and accordingly execute preventive measures in collaboration with Shift Supervisor and external service providers.
Responsibilities
- Execution of preventive and corrective maintenance including repairing of the systems covered by the maintenance section.
- Conduct tasks according to work schedules and periodic inspection plans.
- Preparation of tools and materials required for maintenance activities.
- Preparation of failure documentation and submitting them to superiors through CMMS.
- Monitoring commissioning, testing and trial operation activities of PSD equipment.
- Monitor and Maintain PSD interface and integration with other disciplines.
- Operation of special tools and measuring devices required to perform maintenance and repair tasks.
- Performing maintenance activities requiring work at height, on track, stations, and depots.
Qualifications
- Vocational training in Electronics/Communications Systems.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience in the field of maintenance for System PSD Assets preferably in railway / metro organisation or other relevant industry.
