TPE I Graduate Corrosion and Material Offshore Engineer
Job Description
Wood PLC is seeking a Graduate Corrosion and Material Offshore Engineer to support design activities in an office-based environment. The role involves working under close supervision to provide design assistance, resolving specialty-related engineering issues by applying accepted principles and standards, and learning international codes relevant to oil, gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, and offshore industries. The candidate will work collaboratively within a team, participate in field visits, and may be assigned to plant or construction sites as required.
Responsibilities
- Interested in design activities in office based environment
- Works under close supervision, provides design assistance to the team
- Resolve specialty related engineering issues by applying accepted engineering sense, principles, codes, and standards
- Learning and understanding of codes and standards required for the job
- Collaborate within team-based environment with good communication
- Open to Field visits and possibility of field assignment at plant/construction site
Qualifications
- Degree in Material Engineer
- 0 Experience
- Graduate level understanding of Engineering practices, design methods and calculations
- Knowledge of trends and economic conditions affecting the technical field
- Ability to comprehend and interpret technical information applicable to their discipline of engineering
- Demonstrates the application of theory in a practical context
