Entry-Level Accountant
Job Description

The accountant position is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive system of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results.
Responsibilities
- Perform Accounts Receivable functions including invoicing and aging reports
- Enter routine journal entries and bank transactions
- Enter AP bills and credit card transactions
- Perform month-end closing and reconciliation
- Reconcile, investigate, correct, and adjust accounting information
- Perform bank reconciliation
- Support department peers as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 1-2 years of accrual basis accounting working experiences
- Demonstrated business judgment and acumen
- Ability to work with multiple business units
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented, excellent proofreading and editing skills
- Highly self-motivated and directed
