Inventory Supervisor
Job Description
The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing end-to-end inventory management activities to ensure optimal stock availability, accuracy, and cost efficiency across warehouse and operations functions. This role leads inventory control processes and drives continuous improvement initiatives using Danaher Business System (DBS) tools.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage inventory levels
- Analyze inventory turnover and stock aging
- Develop action plans for slow-moving inventory
- Prepare and maintain regular reports on inventory
- Coordinate with Finance for credit notes
- Execute inventory audit strategies and cycle counts
- Lead shopfloor problem-solving activities using DBS tools
- Coach and guide warehouse team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration
- Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in inventory management or warehouse operations
- Prior supervisory or team-lead experience
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
- Advanced analytical skills
