Audio Visual Technician – Technology, Innovation & Data Department

Job Description

The Audio Visual Technician is responsible for supporting all AV and low-voltage operations across the resort, ensuring flawless technical service for events, guest rooms, and public spaces. This role involves installing, operating, and maintaining AV systems, cabling infrastructure, and technologies such as Triple Play systems and CCTV, while adhering to Four Seasons’ standards of quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • AV Setup & Operation: Install and operate AV equipment
  • Triple Play & Guest Room Technology: Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance
  • CCTV & Low-Voltage Systems: Support installation and maintenance
  • Cabling & Passive Infrastructure: Install and maintain structured cabling
  • Perform cable terminations and ensure proper labeling
  • Inspect and maintain passive components such as patch panels and racks
  • Technical Support: Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot AV systems
  • Event Support: Provide professional, unobtrusive AV assistance
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections
  • Compliance & Safety: Follow electrical and low-voltage standards

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of AV and low-voltage experience in luxury hospitality or large-scale resort operations
  • Strong knowledge of AV systems, Triple Play technology, CCTV systems, structured cabling, terminations, and passive network components
  • Knowledge of passive network basics required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Degree or certification in Audio/Visual or related field preferred
  • Right to work in Egypt
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic is an asset
