Chief Information Officer
Job Description
Leading the Bank’s technology strategy and IT governance for a licensed financial institution in Abu Dhabi. The CIO oversees end-to-end technology functions including core banking platforms, digital channels, and cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with FSRA and ADGM regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the Bank’s technology strategy
- Oversee enterprise architecture and digital transformation
- Ensure IT governance and regulatory compliance
- Accountable for operational resilience and disaster recovery
- Manage IT budget and vendor relationships
- Report to CEO and Board on technology risk and strategy
Qualifications
- 12–18+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership in banking
- Experience as CIO or Head of IT within a bank
- Experience operating under regulatory scrutiny (FSRA, FCA, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in CS or Engineering
