Job Description

Industry: Architectural Design Consultancy / Construction / Interior Design. Experience Required: 3+ Years (UAE Experience Mandatory). We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our presence in the UAE Architectural Design Consultancy market. The ideal candidate will have a strong industry network, a proven track record of closing projects, and the ability to build long-term client relationships across developers, consultants, architects, and contractors. This is a client-facing, revenue-driven role responsible for identifying opportunities, securing high-value projects, and contributing directly to the company’s growth strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities across residential, commercial, hospitality, and retail projects
  • Generate and manage a strong pipeline of qualified leads and prospective projects
  • Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, negotiations, and commercial discussions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, consultants, architects, contractors, and key decision-makers
  • Act as the primary point of contact from initial engagement to project award
  • Maintain long-term client relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and capability presentations
  • Coordinate closely with estimation, design, and operations teams for pricing, technical inputs, and project alignment
  • Ensure client requirements are clearly communicated and understood internally
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and upcoming opportunities
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking sessions, and client meetings
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales and pipeline reports to management

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of proven UAE experience in business development or sales within civil engineering design, architecture, and construction industries
  • Strong knowledge of the UAE construction market
  • Proven track record of closing projects and meeting revenue targets
  • Established network with developers, consultants, architects, and contractors
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic is an advantage
  • Valid UAE driving license required
