Application Expert (Digital Transformation & Solutions)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Application Expert to lead digital transformation initiatives and drive the evaluation, selection, and adoption of enterprise digital and AI-enabled solutions. This role focuses on identifying transformation opportunities, redesigning business processes, and ensuring that digital capabilities deliver measurable business value across the organization. The successful candidate will act as a strategic bridge between business and technology, shaping digital solution roadmaps while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and long-term objectives.
Responsibilities
- Identify digital transformation opportunities across business functions and internal operations
- Analyze current (As-Is) processes and design future-state (To-Be) digital processes
- Translate business needs into digital initiatives, use cases, and transformation roadmaps
- Ensure alignment between digital initiatives and organizational objectives
- Support the Corporate IT annual planning process by preparing and coordinating digital transformation initiatives and inputs with concerned stakeholders
- Develop a deep understanding of system functions, features, and workflows and how they support business operations
- Propose suitable digital solutions and platforms aligned with business needs and transformation objectives
- Conduct functional and high-level technical comparison of alternative solutions, platforms, and approaches
- Evaluate solutions based on value, impact, feasibility, and alignment with enterprise standards
- Provide clear recommendations and justification for selecting the most suitable solution
- Support RFI / RFP activities from a digital transformation perspective when required
- Identify and propose AI use cases that support digital transformation and business objectives
- Assess readiness of processes, data, and systems for AI adoption
- Evaluate AI-enabled solutions and platforms (e.g., copilots, intelligent automation, analytics)
- Support pilot initiatives and Proof of Concept (PoC) activities for AI solutions
- Coordinate with data, IT, and security teams to ensure responsible and compliant AI adoption
- Monitor AI adoption, usage, and realized benefits after deployment
- Identify and prioritize automation and digitalization opportunities
- Support implementation of workflow, integration, and automation initiatives
- Follow up on digital solution activation, adoption, and value realization after go-live
- Measure digital transformation impact in terms of efficiency, cost, and user experience
- Ensure digital initiatives comply with IT governance, architecture, and security standards
- Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities and propose corrective actions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across digital platforms and services
- Prepare digital transformation progress, achievement, and impact reports
- Provide insights and recommendations to management to support decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in enterprise solution, digital transformation, business improvement, or related roles
