Job Description
This position is responsible for assisting in all facets of the store’s daily operations to increase sales and profit. Provides continuous coaching to all employees on proper selling techniques, inventory best practices and product knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Assist Store Manager in monitoring daily goals and monthly sales achievements
- Embrace the Company’s vision, mission, goals, objectives and core values
- Assist in planning and controlling financial matters within budgeted limits
- Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to
- Greets every customer within 10 feet in a friendly manner
- Determines customers’ needs and offers appropriate suggestions
- Cultivates customers’ good will and encourages repeat business
- Recruit, train and develop staff
- Assist in maintaining the perpetual inventory system
- Accurately perform related duties including Sales Associate and Cashier roles
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field or at least 3 years of related experience
- 2-3 years of retail and/or business supervisory experience preferred
- Working experience with MS Office, Google, internet and e-mail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be certified to operate a forklift
