Principal Technical Safety Engineer
Job Description
Key role delivering study, FEED, EPC, and PMC scopes of work. Requires thorough knowledge of Technical Safety & Loss Prevention engineering methodologies for onshore and offshore oil and gas.
Responsibilities
- Perform Safety screening of project scopes
- Conduct Hazardous Area Classification and Safety layout Assessment
- Prepare reports for project HAZOP, HAZID, and SIL studies
- Perform Physical Hazard Effects (PHE) modelling
- Lead and mentor junior engineers
Qualifications
- Degree qualification in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in Oil & Gas post-graduation
- Experience in Concept through to EPC focus on upstream
