Job Description
Responsible for forecasting product demand to ensure optimal inventory levels, high product availability, and minimal waste in an FMCG environment. Collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data and market trends
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing to incorporate promotions and new product launches into forecasts
- Monitor forecast accuracy and KPIs
- Support the S&OP process
- Coordinate with supply planning and procurement to ensure product availability
- Analyze demand variances and recommend corrective actions
Qualifications
- Experience in demand planning or supply chain, preferably within an FMCG environment
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and demand planning tools
- Strong communication and cross-functional skills
