Job Description
Further your career at Ball, a world leader in manufacturing sustainable aluminium packaging. You will be part of Plant Finance team (Cairo), mainly responsible for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Taxation and participation in monthly/quarterly internal controls and SOX reporting. The position works closely with other finance sub functions as well as other departments and vendors to ensure smooth and coordinated daily business operations and proper accounting treatments.
Responsibilities
- Participate in Month end closing bookings
- Ensure compliance with SOX internal controls requirements
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual tax reports
- Handle tax audits under supervision of accounting manager
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly VAT returns
- Visit the tax authorities when needed
- Participate in cash flow preparation
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree of Accounting/finance
- 2-3 years of experience in related field
- Manufacturing industry background is preferred
- Fluency in English
