Regional Sales Manager
Job Description
If you are a Sales Professional, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving profitable sales of products and solutions in the region. Drives for growth and penetration in the region consistent with Customers’ needs and according to Company strategy, objectives, and policies. Promotes and maintains a customer-focused culture within the organization to drive customer satisfaction in the region. This role will also be responsible for setting direction and sales pursuit, Life cycle services strategies, developing sales teams, and ensuring that all sales channels meet the sales target, develop account strategy, and complete key action plan. This job will be responsible for driving the Emerson Discrete Automation business in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia & Bahrain.
Responsibilities
- Authentic leadership and professionalism to improve sales team efficacy with Salesforce CRM, channel approach, and end customer focused Life cycle Services opportunities
- Drive sales growth of the business unit in the region. 100% ownership for the Saudi Arabia and Bahrain orders & sales targets
- Direct and coordinate activities to promote the sale of new products & solutions, breaking into new industry segments
- Coordinate, monitor, and approve all commercial negotiations as per Delegation of Authority with customers and channels
- Develop and execute strategic pricing actions to increase penetration and improve profits
- Reporting to leadership and contributes to strategic plans, propose and drive initiatives and plans in line with the company’s business units
- Report on weekly for monthly milestones as well as monthly basis (and when required) with detailed analysis of performance vs planned Orders & Sales, Growth programs, Target Accounts, Opportunity funnel growth & accuracy, and improved Customer satisfaction
- Regular review Salesforce CRM with Sales team and keep it up to date
- Maximize collaboration within the Business Development teams within Middle East & Africa and globally
- Drive New Customers/New Applications/New Solutions growth in the region
- Leverage across the business units of Emerson creating win-win opportunities
- Continuous development of sales staff including training, coaching, organizational efficiency planning, and performance reviews
- Keeps leadership informed of market intelligence, strategic competitor information and provides recommendations
- Ensure all direct reports and you comply with Ethics, Trade Compliance, Competition Laws, Quality Assurance, and Health & Safety policies
Qualifications
- Engineering Bachelor’s degree and experience
- Industry knowledge/business knowledge
- 8-10 years’ direct & representative sales management experience, domestic & multinational
- Arabic speaking is preferred
