Job Description

Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence is looking for a talented and experienced Banquet Chef who shares our passion for excellence. The role manages the kitchen’s cold food production area to ensure established standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the cold food production area
  • Assist in the planning and development of menus and recipes
  • Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling and inventory control
  • Ensure sanitation standards and cleanliness are in compliance
  • Maintain control systems to assure quality and portion consistency
  • Coordinate menu tastings and pre-meal meetings to educate staff
  • Interact directly with guests to ascertain satisfaction

Qualifications

  • More than 1 year experience
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
  • Ability to operate computer equipment and department systems
