Kitchen and Laundry technician
Job Description
Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria is looking for a Kitchen Laundry Technician who can receive intensive training in troubleshooting, technical procedures, and safety. The role involves repairs for plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
Responsibilities
- Follow proper payroll and uniform procedures
- Provide repairs for plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC, and refrigeration
- Provide piping and plumbing repairs and maintenance to HVAC water systems and pumping systems
- Install piping for renovations and plumbing fixture additions
- Assist in preventative maintenance of all Laundry equipment and updating logs
- Clean all stations in Engineering
- Respond to guest complaints regarding room maintenance
- Perform preventative maintenance in guestrooms and public areas
Qualifications
- High School graduate
- Two years Technical trade school or previous similar work experience
- Extensive kitchen equipment experience
- Superior safety and electrical diagnostic capabilities
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language is highly desirable
