Electrical and Power Engineering Support Specialist
Job Description
Provide power engineering support in the following areas: generators, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) systems, battery strings, electrical distribution, and Grounding, Bonding, and Shielding (GBS).
Responsibilities
- Provide power engineering support for generators, UPS, and battery systems.
- Develop and review architectural and engineering management plans.
- Perform site surveys.
- Prepare project cost estimates and time schedules.
- Analyze project proposals and technical review of design calculations.
- Coordinate all design phases with staff elements.
- Advise the Government on inspection, maintenance and repair standards.
- Experience using CADD system to develop engineering drawings.
Qualifications
- An active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
- US Citizenship is required.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in engineering of buildings and equipment (HVAC, low voltage electrical systems).
- High Diploma or equivalent minimum.
