Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead revenue growth across large-scale exhibitions and events. This role will be responsible for driving new business, nurturing existing accounts, and building strong industry relationships to achieve commercial objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales for new and existing exhibitions to meet revenue and growth targets
  • Research competitor events and industry trends to identify fresh opportunities
  • Support the creation of impactful sales materials in collaboration with marketing
  • Contribute to visitor promotion initiatives to boost attendance and engagement
  • Grow, maintain, and leverage the exhibitor database to expand market reach
  • Build and manage partnerships with sales agents, associations, and trade bodies across key markets
  • Negotiate exhibitor and sponsorship contracts while managing vendor relationships
  • Develop and implement sponsorship, partnerships, and non-space revenue streams
  • Oversee key account management strategies, ensuring long-term retention and growth
  • Lead delivery of sales budgets, forecasts, and financial targets
  • Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, hitting sales goals
  • Analyze internal and external market data to identify emerging trends
  • Foster strong, lasting client relationships by understanding business needs
  • Generate innovative sales strategies to drive client acquisition and retention
  • Oversee exhibition floor plan sales in collaboration with operations
  • Manage sales budgets effectively to achieve financial goals
  • Partner closely with the marketing team to align campaigns with sales priorities
  • Provide leadership, training, and ongoing coaching to the sales team

Qualifications

  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets within the events industry
  • Proven ability to build long-term client relationships and partnerships with trade bodies and associations
  • Strategic thinker with experience in sponsorship sales, key account management, and business development
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
