Job Description

•Install, splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cables (single-mode and multi-mode). •Perform OTDR testing, power meter testing, and visual fault locating. •Interpret fiber optic schematics, network layouts, and installation blueprints. •Maintain and troubleshoot fiber optic networks and infrastructure. •Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols. •Document installation and maintenance activities accurately.

Responsibilities

Install, splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cables (single-mode and multi-mode)

Interpret fiber optic schematics, network layouts, and installation blueprints
Maintain and troubleshoot fiber optic networks and infrastructure
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols
Document installation and maintenance activities accurately
Collaborate with project managers and other technicians

Qualifications

3-Year Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering
BICSI Installer 2, Optical Fiber (INSTF)
Training certifications from Corning, Nexans, Commscope, or Panduit/ OEM
Valid Qatar Driving License (preferred)
