IT Desktop Support- Muscat, Oman (Dispatch/On Demand)
Job Description
Provide onsite/on-call assistance to end-users within the organization’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Provide first- and second-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Respond to service requests and incidents via ticketing system
- Install, upgrade, and maintain operating systems and software applications
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral issues
- Set up and configure new employee workstations
- Support remote users with VPN and connectivity issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1+ year of experience in a desktop support, helpdesk, or IT technician role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, and basic networking concepts.
