Marine Technical Advisor
Job Description
The Marine Technical Advisor at Aramco provides technical expertise to resolve uncomplicated technical issues related to marine operations. Technical services include Marine Engineering, application of new technologies, Naval Architecture, new vessel building projects, Port Engineering, and vessels repair. The role requires background in structure, machinery, or port facilities.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor projects and maintenance activities
- Lead facilities management for Saudi Aramco and contractor personnel
- Assure construction conforms to design specifications and standards
- Review design proposals for compliance
- Prepare reports and recommendations for marine facilities changes
- Forecast requirements for asset and equipment integrity
- Coordinate land use within facilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Marine, Mechanical, or Naval Architecture)
- At least 4 years of experience
- Knowledge of international regulatory body requirements and classification standards
