Safety Officer
Job Description
We are looking for a Safety Officer to support the implementation of safety and health standards and help maintain a safe working environment for employees and facilities.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and support the implementation of safety procedures on site
- Conduct routine safety inspections and report potential hazards
- Assist in incident reporting and basic investigations
- Support emergency response and evacuation procedures
- Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Assist in delivering basic safety awareness and training sessions
- Prepare simple safety reports and observations
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree (preferred, not mandatory)
- Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety standards
- Previous experience is an advantage but not required
