Art Teacher
Job Description
We are seeking an Art teacher to instruct our middle and high school students at American School Dhahran (ASD). The Art teacher will be part of a dynamic and highly successful Art department.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the documented curriculum
- Deliver an active, hands-on, and student-centered program for MS/HS level
- Maintain students' attendance records, grades, and other required records
- Evaluate and grade students' class work and assignments
- Compile, administer and grade examinations
- Assist students who need extra help outside of class
- Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula and course content
- Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching and research issues
- Provide supervision to students in after-school activity or coach athletic teams
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred)
- Certification as a teacher
