Job Description

The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for supporting the Line Manager in daily operations to ensure guests' satisfaction and be the right-hand person for a smooth business run. You will maintain a consistent level of service standard by tracking and communicating daily operations performance, ensure policies are implemented, and assist in managing all day-to-day operations including staff scheduling and training.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a consistent level of service standard by tracking and communicating daily operations performance
  • Ensure that Qatar Airways and FSCC policies are implemented and maintained
  • Assist the Line Manager in managing all day-to-day operations
  • Prepare scheduling of staff and their training calendar
  • Monitor stock inventory control and customer service
  • Disseminate information through effective daily briefing
  • Analyze weekly results and monthly sales report
  • Prepare upselling plan to increase average spend
  • Conduct people management procedures including probation reviews
  • Set standards in service and guest relations
  • Set up team roaster and plan overtime and holidays shifts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of job-related experience
  • Working experience in fast paced multi units environments
  • Experienced in HACCP and quality assurance implementation or Related Training
  • Worked with a major internationally recognized hotel or Commercial Brand (preferably 5 star restaurant)
