Fleet Maintenance Planner – Heavy Trucks
Job Description
Responsible for developing maintenance and spare parts plans for heavy equipment and trucks. Tracks performance, manages Oracle ERP records, and ensures cost control in the ports and logistics sector.
Responsibilities
- Develops maintenance and spare parts plans for equipment
- Prepare monthly preventive & proactive maintenance plans
- Monitors implementation of maintenance activities
- Oversees spare parts movement and collaborates with Procurement
- Develops maintenance performance reports and benchmarks results
- Tracks maintenance costs and allocates them to equipment cost centers
- Analyzes downtime/failure data to optimize frequencies
- Updates Oracle asset records
- Supports defining optimal technician resource levels
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/industrial engineering
- 3–5 years’ relevant experience (preferably in heavy industries maintenance planning)
- Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning principles & processes
- Excellent presentation, communication, and reporting skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to lead change
- Practical experience with planning & scheduling tools
