Field Accountant
Job Description
KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for a Field Accountant to support the multi-year general maintenance services contract covering Petro Rabigh Polymer I and Polymer II plants at Rabigh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Field Accountant will be responsible for executing accounting policies and procedures involving the maintenance of field general ledgers, asset and liability accounts, analysis of balance sheet accounts, and management financial reporting relevant to the job site.
Responsibilities
- Perform accounting function and activities including billing, revenue recognition, and budgeting
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately
- Adhere to all controls and compliance including SoX
- Provide supporting documentation for audits
- Support general project business operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- 2 + years of directly related experience
- Strong accounting knowledge
- Experience in project accounting activities preferred
- Hands on experience in SAP, Costpoint, HFM, Cadency / AssureNet, MS Office
