Environmental Director
Job Description
Candidate shall be assigned to an integrated Environmental team that services KSA and the Middle East. Alpin Limited is a multidisciplinary sustainable cleantech consultancy based in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Alpin is a fully-owned subsidiary of Setec, based out of Paris, France. The local team is composed of a diverse range of experts who lead their respective fields, including LEED APs, PQPs, MOSTADAM APs, Mostadam trainers, commissioning authorities (CxA), construction managers, MBA’s, and building physics PHD’s.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to set strategic goals for environmental activity in KSA
- Ensure that environmental business objectives are met efficiently and effectively
- Develop and implement department organisation, procedures, policies, and management procedures
- Maintain good working relationships with Setec group specialized companies
- Direct and oversee environmental staff in KSA
- Anticipate vacancies and management of departures/replacements
- Capitalize best practices and liaise with Setec entities in France
- General monitoring of environmental operations in KSA, reporting & dashboards
- Manage and forecast budget needs and requests
- Management of contracts and sub-consultant’s agreements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Biology or Science
- Environmental Engineering background with preferably more than 15 years of experience
- Excellent written & spoken English
- KSA Driver’s license & personal mode of transportation
