Job Description
The Senior Training Specialist will support the province-wide rollout of the Public Safety Radio Network (PSRN) by designing, delivering, and managing training programs for land and air ambulance services. This role requires extensive travel and hands-on instructional delivery.
Responsibilities
- Deliver instructor-led training and e-learning to paramedics and stakeholders
- Conduct evaluations and assess participant performance
- Develop PSRN training strategies and detailed plans
- Design and quality-check all training materials
- Support project testing activities (coverage, console testing)
- Collaborate with Ministry of Health representatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Trainer
- Experience developing province-wide training strategies for first responders
- Experience delivering training to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Knowledge of radio/telephone systems, GIS, and mapping
- Valid Ontario G-class driver’s license
