Job Description
Perform sterile capillary prick / venipuncture for blood sample collection at Dasman Diabetes Institute. Ensure quality throughout the phlebotomy process and maintain patient confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Perform sterile capillary prick and venipuncture
- Adhere to lab safety and quality control
- Use Laboratory Information System (LIS) for labeling and verifying orders
- Draw blood from different age groups
- Perform POCT (Point Of Care Testing)
- Maintain confidentiality of patient results
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Lab Technology (MLT)
- Minimum 4 years’ previous experience
- Experience with either ACI or CAP Accreditation programs
