Works Inspector (Traffic)
Job Description
Oversee and inspect daily site operations related to traffic management and construction, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. In a world of possibilities, pursue one with endless opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of traffic management and construction activities
- Monitor and report on work progress
- Inspect materials and workmanship
- Ensure proper documentation of all inspections
- Coordinate with construction teams for road signage, signals, and markings
- Manage site safety and worker adherence to protocols
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Assist with testing and commissioning
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in traffic management and construction inspection
- At least 5 years in a consultant firm in an inspection role on large-scale infrastructure projects
