Job Description

Engineering Services are seeking a Greenhouse Gas Management and Decarbonization Specialist to join the GHG Emissions Management Division (GEMD). The specialist will provide consultations to support Company strategies in Greenhouse Gas (GHG) and Climate related aspects, oversee the Corporate GHG protocol, and lead initiatives in decarbonization to achieve net zero GHG emissions by 2050.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consultations to support Company GHG management and Decarbonization strategies
  • Oversee the development and implementation of Corporate GHG protocol
  • Lead technologies or research initiatives in GHG emissions reduction
  • Support facility operations in GHG minimization efforts
  • Update engineering standards and procedures
  • Review project designs and decarbonization impact assessments studies
  • Interact with government and international entities regarding climate change reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Science
  • 15+ years of experience in GHG management
  • At least 5 years in GHG accounting, reporting, and assurance in the Energy sector
  • Knowledge of WRI GHG Protocol, ISO 14064-1, and IPIECA guidelines
