Quantity Surveyor
Job Description
Prepare various Quantity Surveying documents including budgetary estimates from sketch drawings, Bill of Quantities for all disciplines and Costs Estimates. Experienced in large scale projects such as commercial and residential complexes, roads, highways and infrastructures, airports, hospitals, sports clubs and stadiums, housing projects, towers/high rise buildings, industrial buildings, etc.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with Project Directors and attend Tender procedures
- Prepare award of contracts and make recommendations of contractor’s valuations
- Evaluate variations and handle contractual correspondences
- Attend progress meetings and provide updates on projection of costs
- Finalize the Final Account of projects
- Assist in any contracts administration duties related to QS
Qualifications
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering
- Minimum 7 years working experience in pre & post construction quantity surveying
- RICS member is preferred
