Medical Writer - Medical Information
Job Description
The Medical Writer provides high-quality medical and scientific writing from planning and coordination through delivery of final drafts to internal and external clients. The role involves collaborating with internal and external clients, supporting and enabling effective and efficient communication that results in operational excellence. Duties include creating routine deliverables such as medical information documents, ensuring compliance with SOPs and quality processes, and potentially assisting in program management activities such as developing timelines and tracking metrics.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary writer who creates and provides input on routine deliverables, such as medical information documents
- Ensure compliance with applicable SOPs, WI, quality processes, and requirements for documents
- Assist in determining best practices for achieving optimal results
- Assist in program management activities including developing timelines and budgets for assigned deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
- Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years)
- Experience working in the pharmaceutical/CRO industry preferred
- Experience in scientific writing advantageous
