Job Description
Responds to fire calls, chemical spills, general rescue and all other emergency calls. Fights fires, delivers emergency medical care within scope of practice. Works as part of fire crew under the direction of Fire Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Responds to fire calls, chemical spills, and general rescue
- Fights fires and delivers emergency medical care
- Maintains fire station and ensures area safety
- Performs general checks and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
- Conducts inspections of fire protection systems
- Gives inductions and fire safety talks
- Participates in training and drills
- Carries out site checks for safety compliance
Qualifications
- Diploma
- Minimum 5 years experience
