Job Description
Assists department head in managing budget, capital expenditures, preventative maintenance and energy conservation. Accountable for maintaining the building and grounds with particular attention towards safety, security and asset protection.
Responsibilities
- Assists in planning and evaluating preventative maintenance programs
- Supervises day to day operations of Engineering
- Manages physical plant including refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, and life safety
- Supervises distribution of repair work orders
- Selects and makes purchases of new equipment
- Ensures compliance with facility regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in engineering OR 2-year degree in Engineering; 2 years experience
- Technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing
