General Manager Industrial Competitiveness & International Trade
Job Description
Spearhead strategic initiatives designed to elevate the national industrial sector’s standing on the global stage. Lead technical and diplomatic efforts in international trade negotiations (FTA, WTO, GCC). Focus on removing trade barriers, optimizing customs unions, and fostering regional industrial integration.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical analysis and execution of international trade agreements
- Act as advisor to national negotiating teams
- Support national positions within the WTO framework
- Manage the 'Customs Union' portfolio
- Drive modernization of laws related to trade agreements
- Develop and oversee implementation of operational plans
- Represent the Entity at international forums
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in international trade negotiations
- Strong background in GCC Industrial Cooperation and WTO compliance
- Experience in 'Rules of Origin', 'Market Access', and 'Trade Remedies'
