Technician (RST)
Job Description
The Technician, RST, Rolling Stock is responsible for executing preventive and corrective maintenance of RST equipment in accordance with regulations and industry benchmarks. This role includes analyzing disruptions, movement of RST vehicles within the depot area, and performing safety checks and repairs on complex technical systems such as brake systems, HVAC, and propulsion.
Responsibilities
- Executing preventive and corrective maintenance of RST systems
- Conduct tasks according to work schedules and maintenance plans
- Preparation of materials, tools, and workshop equipment
- Preparation of failure documentation via CMMS
- Assistance to the shift supervisor
- Operation of special tools and maintenance vehicles
- Repair of RST assets according to technical documentation
- Safety and operational check of railway vehicles
- Shunting of trains within the depot area
- Power up and shut down operation of trains
- Connecting/disconnecting vehicles from power supply
- Driving emergency response vehicles
Qualifications
- Vocational training in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience
