Localization Specialist (Chinese Language Preferred)
Job Description
We are looking for a creative Localization Specialist to join our team. You will be supporting in handling the full localization cycle—from high-volume translation and cultural adaptation to LQA. Proficiency in Chinese is a significant advantage.
Responsibilities
- Handle high-volume MTPE, localization and creative transcreation
- Review and polish translated content to ensure grammatical accuracy and consistency
- Perform deep-dive LQA on in-game content
- Support in managing projects using CAT tools (memoQ) and Jira
- Maintain TMs and TBs
- Plan workloads, estimate delivery times, and resolve localization blockers
Qualifications
- +4 years of experience in Game Localization/Translation
- Native-level proficiency in Arabic and fluent English
- Strong literary and creative writing skills
- Strong preference for Simplified Chinese reading/writing skills
- Proficiency in CAT Tools (memoQ), Jira, and Excel/Google Sheets
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or equivalent experience is preferred
