Associate Professor- Computer and Information Engineering
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Professor to join our Computer and Information Engineering Department. The role involves a balanced contribution to teaching, research, and academic service, supporting the university’s mission in education, innovation, and community engagement. Expertise in Computer Networks, Robotics, Digital Design & FPGA Prototyping, Neuromorphic Computing, AI Hardware Accelerators, or Quantum Computing is welcomed.
Responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate and graduate-level courses in computer and information engineering
- Develop and update course content, syllabi, and instructional materials
- Supervise student projects, theses, and teaching internships
- Conduct impactful research and secure external research funding
- Contribute to departmental and university committees
- Engage in community outreach and professional service
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Engineering, Communication, or a closely related field
- Strong research record with peer-reviewed publications
- Proven excellence in university-level teaching
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant academic experience, including at least 5 years at the Assistant Professor level
