Overhead and Aircraft Hangar Door Technician
Job Description
The Overhead and Aircraft Hangar Door Technician is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of sectional overhead doors and large-scale aircraft hangar door systems in a mission-critical airfield environment.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair overhead and hangar door systems
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, gearboxes, and control panels
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
- Respond to emergency service calls
- Install new door systems and components
- Conduct operational and safety testing
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience servicing sectional overhead doors
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License
- DoD Secret Clearance
