Music Teacher
Job Description
We are seeking a talented Music Teacher to join our dynamic Arts and Technology department, with the opportunity to lead this thriving team. You'll teach Music across KS3/4 while contributing to a department that serves Early Years to Year 13 across music, drama, art, design technology, and computer science. This role suits someone who combines strong musicianship with enthusiasm for educational innovation and technology integration.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, practical music lessons across KS3/4
- Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with curriculum goals
- Observe, monitor and record student progress
- Use educational technology to enhance learning
- Be committed to the school’s pastoral system as form tutor
- Champion digital literacy initiatives
- Contribute to whole-school events and performances
Qualifications
- University degree in the subject area of employment (Master’s degree preferred)
- Current teacher certification in the required subject area
