Quality, Health and Safety Officer
Job Description
The QHSE Officer is responsible for maintaining full compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) regulations across projects and sites. The role ensures safe working conditions, zero-accident objectives, and effective implementation of quality and HSE systems to prevent losses and achieve successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare Inspection Test Plans (ITP) and Project Quality Plans (PQP)
- Develop method statements and work procedures
- Conduct project inspections and ensure compliance with standards
- Identify hazardous and unsafe conditions and implement corrective measures
- Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Conduct site safety inspections and toolbox talks
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly HSE statistics
- Conduct safety orientation programs for company employees
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in a technical discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in occupational health and safety, preferably in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or industrial projects
- Strong knowledge of hazard identification and control measures
