Job Description

Cazcanes Tequila is looking for a driven, relationship-focused Market Manager to lead brand growth across New Jersey. This role is field-heavy and highly visible — perfect for someone who thrives in the spirits industry, loves building trade relationships, and knows how to execute with excellence. Spend 80–90% of your time in the market calling on accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Build distribution, visibility, and brand love for Cazcanes in key on- and off-premises accounts.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for distributor teams; conduct GSMs, training, ride-along, and sales seminars.
  • Drive new distribution, secure menu/features, and ensure best-in-class execution of POS, displays, and retail standards.
  • Develop and manage a prioritized account list and maintain strong relationships with buyers, managers, and bartenders.
  • Execute consumer events, tastings, staff training, and brand activations throughout New Jersey.
  • Track performance, depletion goals, and activation metrics; provide regular market insights.
  • Spend 80–90% of your time in the market calling on accounts.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of spirits supplier or distributor experience.
  • Strong trade relationships in New Jersey preferred.
  • Excellent communication, sales, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced field environment.
  • Confident public speaker with solid spirits knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar; iDig and Karma or similar for planning.
  • Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
