Job Description
Residence Inn by Marriott Dammam is looking for a Front Desk Manager to supervise staff and daily operations for Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard, and Guest Services. You will ensure an efficient check-in/out process, handle guest complaints, manage staffing levels, and support the Front Office Manager in financial performance goals. This role involves serving as a role model and mentor for the front desk team.
Responsibilities
- Supervise front office staff and daily operations including Bell/Door and Switchboard.
- Direct check-in and check-out processes for efficiency.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve grievances.
- Manage staffing levels to meet operational and financial objectives.
- Serve as a role model for appropriate behaviors and professional appearance.
- Conduct feedback and coaching for employee service behaviors.
- Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
- Monitor adherence to all credit policies and procedures.
- Participate in progressive discipline and interviewing/hiring activities.
- Support departmental orientation and training programs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED and 2 years experience in guest services or related professional area; OR
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel/Hospitality/Business Administration with no experience.
