Head of Legal Department (onsite - relocation to EU office)
Job Description
Alex Staff is looking for a Head of Legal to manage all legal support for a fintech company. You will handle international jurisdictions, manage staff, analyze foreign laws for new company registration, and develop compliance procedures. This role requires relocation to an EU office with full support provided by the company. 5+ years of fintech experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Full legal support of the company and international jurisdictions
- Management and control of legal department staff
- Analysis of foreign jurisdictions for registrations and tax planning
- Interaction with foreign lawyers and consultants
- Reviewing and developing agreements with banks and payment systems
- Developing compliance and due diligence procedures
- Consulting on labor law and legalization
Qualifications
- Higher legal education in international law
- Fluent in English including professional terminology
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a fintech company
- Experience in international negotiations
- Knowledge of contract law and corporate documentation
