Tendering / Estimation Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Lead preparation of detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions for construction and engineering projects.
Analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications to identify scope, risks, and cost drivers.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and commercial teams to obtain accurate technical inputs and supplier quotations.
Evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids, ensuring commercial competitiveness and technical compliance.
Develop pricing strategies, value engineering proposals, and cost optimization options to improve bid success.
Maintain estimation databases, cost benchmarks, and historical records to support future tenders.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in estimation software, Excel, and interpretation of engineering drawings
- Solid understanding of contract types, procurement processes, and tendering procedures
