Senior Accountant in charge of General Accounting and Taxation M/F | Rabat (Morocco)
Job Description
Reporting to the Administrative and Financial Department, the Senior Accountant is responsible for managing and supervising all accounting and financial operations of IUR, ensuring reliability, compliance, and transparency.
Responsibilities
- Managing and supervising accounting and financial operations (AR, AP, treasury, payroll)
- Monitoring and controlling customer receivables
- Contributing to the preparation of consolidated financial statements and tax returns
- Contributing to the development of accounting and financial procedures
- Coordinating internal and external accounting audits
- Ensuring the reliability, consistency, and compliance of financial statements
- Producing statutory accounts (balance sheet, income statement)
- Ensuring the tax compliance of the institution
Qualifications
- Master's degree (Bac + 5) in finance, accounting, management, or auditing
- Proven experience (5 to 10 years) in general accounting and taxation
- Excellent command of general accounting
- Solid tax knowledge
- Proficiency in accounting tools and ERP systems
