Medical Claims Customer Service Representative (Remote)
Job Description
Provide call center callers with timely, accurate, and customer-focused claim information. Document the claim system, work with Supplemental Health and Limited Medical Benefit products, and perform in a call center team environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customers with timely and accurate benefit and claim information
- Solicit and enter information needed to process claims
- Record summaries of information in the claim system
- Issue claim acknowledgement correspondence
- Comprehensively review and evaluate appeal and complaint requests
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a call center environment within health insurance/medical claims
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of HFCA 1500 & UB04 forms
- Ability to recognize CPT & revenue cycle codes
