Job Description

Provide call center callers with timely, accurate, and customer-focused claim information. Document the claim system, work with Supplemental Health and Limited Medical Benefit products, and perform in a call center team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customers with timely and accurate benefit and claim information
  • Solicit and enter information needed to process claims
  • Record summaries of information in the claim system
  • Issue claim acknowledgement correspondence
  • Comprehensively review and evaluate appeal and complaint requests

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a call center environment within health insurance/medical claims
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of HFCA 1500 & UB04 forms
  • Ability to recognize CPT & revenue cycle codes
